thats incrediable for our 2nd yr coach...give him another mill.
Give him an extension after he guides Tennessee to the Sugar or Orange Bowl. I'm nervous that sometime in the future Oklahoma and Texas may come calling.

As long as we don't tank and our fans and AD support him ( pay the man) , I can't see him leaving. His staff has quickly turned UT from a ghost back into a destination job. I don't see an epic meltdown like we had with the previous goofs. We'll probably lose some games for the next couple years until we get a lot more talent , but I feel like his teams will bring the fight to everyone they play. He resurrected a dead Giant.

The schedule for 2023 looks like 10-2 is possible also for Tennessee. I think with how tough the SEC is that 10-2 is the ceiling for Tennessee.

Yeh probably so and I'd be more than cool with that for a couple or 3 years. Nico's JR or SR season needs to put some hardware in our cabinet though. Our last one is a bit long in the toof.

There is no love lost between him and Oklahoma considering they fired him already. Why on Earth would he go to Texas? He isn't from that part of the country.

The secret to keeping him is a supportive AD that he trusts. You never know what you get in those other situations. You might make a little extra dough, and not get the support you need. Career ending outcome. See Scott Frost.

Now we just have to fix this. I’m not trying to bring a negative vibe. I love this team and this coach but we have to improve this to be elite. JMO.

Tennessee will need a significant step up on defense to make any dream of playing in the SEC Championship a reality anytime soon, boat racing the opposition works against lots of teams, but not the the teams with plenty of points producers themselves, there is a reason the SEC is the most competitive football conference in America, it's the way the game is played

Amazing. Need to back a brinks truck up to the houses of our entire staff...except maybe Martinez. We need more talented DBs...but we need better coaching back there too bc we suck against the pass...Stevie Wonder could see that on a foggy day. CJH should be national coach of the year if we go 9-3 or better IMO.

If you don't know how great of a dB coach Martinez is then you probably shouldn't post.
