Vols Injury Report

EVERYBODY is beat the crap up right now (except Alabama and Florida go figure). It's almost November, it's college ball, and it's not an excuse.

Remember when this was supposed to be "The Year"? Typical Tennessee.

No sane UT fan ever had the NC as an destination for this year. Most said, before the season, that they would be happy to go 2-2 in this past 4 game stretch. Even with the injuries, we still have the talent left to win out. that gives UT a very good chance to win 11 games which we have not done since 2001.

I meant SEC east champs. That's all I wanted. We are so beat up we will drop a game vs these bad teams we play. I hope I'm wrong and we win out, but it'll be close

SEC East is still in sight, and like it or not, that was the realistic expectations coming into this year.

If you think CBJ was supposed to come in and within his first full recruiting cycle, take an SEC bottom dweller - one that was stripped down to a C-USA talent level - and win a national championship, then you are the one that had the unrealistic expectations.

Throw in over 10+ injuries to starters - including 3 of our 4 captains, and multiple All-SEC players - and this is what you get.

Some of you guys are completely over-reacting to the loss to BAMA - and they are BY FAR the best team/program in CFB right now.

Regardless of injuries our O scheme blows goats. We have yet to execute for a full 4 quarters on O thru 7 games. Pathetic.

I'll take 2 losses because we are lucky we don't have 4 at this point.

If Kamara is out the remainder of the season then our season depends on how DeBord adjusts the O. Will we go Power I to compliment Hurd? If not, Hurd will be useless and we will need to rely on the passing game. 😬

Seriously? We're missing about 13 of our 22 starters and a lot of the backups are hurt as well. Were using 2 LBs because we dont have another one. Youre clueless if you think everyone is this banged up.

Us being beat up will give these rest of our schedule hope, that will not be enough. They are all scrubs and will be disposed of properly.

Plan C all the way to Tampa.

Dude, get a grip. We're averaging 30+ pts/gm, and scored 20+ in every game other than BAMA.

Losing Kamara would be a blow to our offense, but its not going to change our scheme. Hurd has played in this offense for 3 years now, and he's been far from useless - he's about to break the all-time rushing record.

Chill out! We've made it through the hardest part of our schedule, and still have a shot at 10-2, an SECCG appearance, and a New Year's 6 Bowl game.

Yet we average over 30 points per game and are well within being SEC East champs? Who knew a blowing goats offense could be so successful?

Plan C all the way to Tampa.

If all the other teams above us handle their business we will not be going to the CFP with 2 losses even if we win the SECCG. We are behind the 8-ball to all these teams. Granted some of these teams play each other but I think any of these teams with just 1 loss would get serious consideration before us. Why? Perception. We haven't executed an entire game and looked dominant. And even if we do execute an entire game during the latter half of the season it will be against a putrid team/schedule to say the least. We only have 2 decent wins (VT & UF), not even considered high quality wins at this point.

Alabama
Ohio St.
Michigan
Clemson
Washington
Louisville
Nebraska
Baylor

Just want to make sure they are consenting goats.
What with our past Title IX troubles.
