Is this Gaulden's first time in?

He's been drastically underrate throughout this process. I've had conversations with people associated with his old school (BA) that have been bold in saying he is better than Jalen Ramsey and that his ranking is solely on not being able to play his Junior year at independence. I've seen him in person once (7v7) and his athletic ability is off the charts. Could be a huge sleeper in this class.

He was previously a four star on Rivals but not in the 250. He's still a three star on 247 and I think you're right, its because he did not play his junior year.

Thanks. Sounds good and hope so. We really need everyone to come in and be good immediately. I can dream, can't I.:clapping:

So other then any future commitments we will know tomorrow:

McDowell, Berry and Wharton were downgraded to a 3star
and of course we will also know about Malone

You can be a four star and not be in the 250. Woody Womack was quoted as saying Cortez McDowell fell out of the top 250 but remains a four-star. I believe they will all keep their four-stars and we will see some guys that are current threes get bumped. Only time will tell

More 4 stars will be added tomorrow who are not in the top 250. 3 stars will be updated Thursday.

All 3 are still 4 stars on Rivals...just not in the Rivals 250.

I'm confused? Were the three downgraded or not? They still show as 4*.

Will Mixon get rated? What do you think happens with Dews and Johnson? Both are 2* currently.

All three are still 5.8 4 stars but they got downgraded out of the top 250. Basically other people got bumps and that moved them out of the 250. As for Dews and Johnson I really feel like if they get properly evaluated then they would have no choice but to give them a bump. Only time will tell if they actually do that though. I'd say at least Johnson will get bumped to a 5.7 3 star but that's just my opinion.

I said I'd update it tomorrow with the bumps to four stars and then the bumps to three stars on Thursday....everyone take a deep breath. I think the drama of Malone's announcement date is spreading to other threads.

No they weren't downgraded. McDowell and Berry aren't going to drop to 3 stars. Woody said himself McDowell held steady and Berry was just bumped to a 4* the last time. He wont be dropping either.

It'll be interesting to see if any of the 3*'s are bumped up. I think Bryant and Coleman in particular are vastly underrated.

Rivals clearly did not see Wharton play this season.

I was about to say, what could Wharton have done better? The kid went off this year. These guys rating these kids kill me. They apparently watched the him enough to know that he a great player his JR year. Does even this year and we will bump him down. WT_???

Couple guys in the 250 we seem to have passed on as well, humphreys for example at 101 right behind Hendrix

I said we would see if they were not when they are...the entire thread should re-read it.

I am not taking any of these committments for granted. I have seen it where we lost players who were committed to us (Santos, Otha Peters) and I have seen us slide in and get committments that we previously didn't have. (Stone, Da Rick, Justin Hunter, NuKeese,)

Until they sign the papers, I don't consider it a done deal!!!!

Wasn't there talk that he would be a 5* if he had played his junior year? I thought I remembered seeing an analyst say that.

Don't we usually get good news from the recruiting front after a loss on Saturday????

Well, we won on Saturday against Kentucky, so it would out of character for "Two Tone Malone" to committ after a win.

Id agree he's one of our most underrated recruits. His presence (namely speed) will be such a breath of fresh air on the field for years to come.
