I always thought Jonathan Wade looked shorter than the 6'0 that he was listed as on various websites. Well, he measured in at the Senior Bowl today and was 5'9.

Arron Sears also measured in at 6'3 and 317. I remembered reading before the season that he wanted to drop weight from the 330-ish he was listed at. Guess he really did.

Hope they do great at the Senior Bowl practices and improve their draft statuses

Btw, if anyone has NFL Network, I believe the coverage of the South team practices will be on tomorrow.

Do they do 40 times at the Senior Bowl pratice? I could see Wade creeping up, despite measuring 5'10", into an early round once they see him scoot. He was a track All-American, so a sub-4.4 is certainly possible. If so, he will have his name called on day one.

Sears worked mostly as a Guard in the 1 on 1's, and looked pretty good. The draft analyst the had there, Mike Mayock, said that he thinks Sears will play Guard in the NFL because he's not as tall and long. He had him ranked as his #2 overall OG behind Ben Grubbs from Auburn.

They didn't show alot on the DB's, but I saw Wade twice in the 1 on 1 drills. Not much happened. He looked good and quick though.

they were making fun of some UT DB on the radio for saying "a defensive back from Ut said he was 6 ft, and only measured in at 5'7!"

Wow that is significantly different. That can only hurt him.

They just got finished with the redzone drills. Wade looked really good. Carson Palmer's bro tried to hit Dwayne Bowe in the endzone and Wade broke on it and ripped it away. Almost picked it off.

Sears won both his battles in one on one's. He either went against the DL from Miami or Ok St., I couldn't tell which it was.

Both former Vols are representing nicely.
