Kiper

5. Justin Hunter - blazing speed, great technique, good route runner.

McShay

7. Justin Hunter - reminiscent of AJ Green.

27. Dallas Thomas - needs to improve awareness, but has good size and versatility.

Other notes -

No Bray. Barkley, L. Thomas, Geno Smith, Tyler Wilson ahead of him.

Amerson still with a first round grade.

We will see Bray first on the list when he throws over 300 yds on Florida! :loco:

We should be happy about this. As long as the analysts are down on Bray even after he dominates, we have him for 2013.

These morons grading Bray as a second rounder could be the key to helping us keep him for another season. That would be just fine with me.

This! Please don't let those idiots realize how great this guy is this year! I think he comes back next year anyway. They'll definitely still talk about immaturity for the rest of this year, no matter how good he plays. If he comes back next year there will be a heisman campaign and he'll almost certainly be no.1 qb.

I think he's gone. Probably a first rounder. Gabbert, Locker, Dalton, Weeden, Tebow? Teams are starved for QB talent.

I think those guys know enough NFL scouts to form their mock boards pretty well. "Million $ Arm, $2 Brain" comes to mind. NFL Franchises look for so much more in a QB ! Immaturity is not a trait easily over looked when someone is dropping $25M on draft pick.

Mcshay raves about his pure arm talent. They just want to see a full year of film, he will get there. Top ten pick,IMO.

NFL scouts drool over skillsets like Bray's. The fact that two guys don't have him on their mock draft means as much in the big picture as all of us saying he should be there.

I’ve said this for a long time, but until Tyler Bray masters some of the other things that the QB is supposed to do (other than slinging the pigskin), he is not going to be as highly regarded as UT fans think. The bad part is that he appears to be working on most of his deficiencies. Arm talent is All-World. But there’s no realistic way to confuse Bray and Barkley.

But the good news is that with Oklahoma’s Landry Jones and Arky’s Tyler Wilson, it’ll be iffy if Bray gets to be the 2, 3, or even 4 QB in the 2013 draft. Depends on what teams think of Geno Smith (WV) and if somebody is dumb enough to draft Logan Thomas (VT). Really noone with the skillset next year, so by coming back for his Senior season he’ll be set as the #1 in that draft.

Kiper and McShay may not have him as a 1st rounder, but Bray will go in the 1st round. He has prototypical size, NFL arm (can make every throw), and and can move outside the pocket.

CP is going to make their boards very soon, too.

Yeah...I've been thinking he's gone after this season, but upon further review...he hasn't had control of the reigns (for a full season yet) and that will cast a lot of doubt in the minds of many NFL teams/scouts. Many had similar concerns about Sanchez, even though he started for 3 full seasons and graduated early.

Even if Bray takes this team to an SECC game and wins, I still don't know that there are a lot of teams looking to take a QB with only one full season (if he can stay healthy this year) under their belt. Especially in light of some of the character concerns (off field incidents). If he has a stellar campaign this season and the next, I can see him being a No.1 to No.3 overall pick.

Another thing to consider too is that just 2 yrs ago, there were quite a few teams that really needed a marquee QB. Most of those teams have addressed that position high in the draft, since then. Only Arizona is left with a ? at QB. So, I don't think there will be a run on QB's this year.
