My wife planned a vacation this weekend for us to see the Colts play the Giants. We're going to be there during the UT-Florida game as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations where we should watch the game--or anywhere else cool to go to in Indy?

Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong forum.

Why don't you call Peyton?

Seriously, you should Google to see if there is a Vol alumni or fan club in Indy. That probably is your best bet.

I went to the AFC championship game last year. Had a great time. My third trip there, and I love the town. St. Elmo's Steakhouse is an Indy institution. I saw some ESPN people and former players there before dinner. Food was good but it is expensive.

There is a mall downtown with a lot of restaurants on the bottom floor.

Hope this helps.

There used to be a group called Indy Vols that i think was part of the Alumni Assoc. They used to meet at a bar/grill called Moon Dog Tavern on the north side of town, 96th and Keystone is the main intersection. Downtown is your best bet-like EZE said. MANY bars, stores, the Circle Center Mall. Also, Irish Fest (not Notre Dame related)and Jazz Fest is going on this weekend all weekend. Usually a good time.

If you can't get hold of Peyton, call Jacques McClendon. He may be more ccessible.

Yes the Indy Vols (Indy alumni) is having a viewing party for the UT/UF game. They have a band playing  about an hour to hour and half before the game and they will be raffling some UT stuff. The viewing party will be at Moondog Tavern on the north side of Indianapolis on 96th street. Please join us for the game!! :clapping:
