Vols in Athens

I am driving up this weekend from Tampa Fl. for the UT/UGA game. This will be my first Non-Bowl UT game. for those of you that have been to UT games in Athens I am open to any suggestions on pre game activities, will there be a fan fair like at the Bowl games? I will have my 11yo son with me so it has to be kid friendly. I am ready for this weekend as I was able to score some good seats, 50yd line Vols side row 4. Will there be any vendors selling jerseys with the players names on them, or just their numbers? I can't find much UT stuff in Florida for some reason and really want to load up on memorabilia while I am there. What can I expect from UGA fans, are they ok to be around or are they total jerks when it comes down to gametime?

Hopefully someone will chime in on kid-friendly activities since we have lots of Vols in GA.

As for jerseys, I can't imagine there will be too much UT stuff being sold in Athens. Best bet is to order it online (see link on the right side of the page).

im from ga, and i would personally love to go but i didnt have 400 dollars to spend. so im stuck watch it at home. but good luck to u i think ull be surprised how many vols fans there actually is n ga. im from gainesville its not far from athens and i see vols tags all the time!
