To have a chance to win. Teams that beat UF has stopped or contained Baugh & made Lagway make plays to win. If Baugh has a big game, forget it. That makes Lagway effective throwing the ball. If Lagway has to win the game, I like the Vols chances.

Fla has scored 27 pts all season in the 4th qtr. 7 were against Long Island in their first game.

You nailed it perfectly. They likely will mail it in by halftime if we can stop their running game and rattle Lagway. Unfortunately I'm not sure our defense can do that based on how they have played this year. Also, our QB needs to show up better than he has in previous bi games.

We can also do that by jumping out to a big first quarter lead. Ole Miss was on the verge of it last weekend, going up 10-0 before giving up a TD drive then throwing a pick on their next play that allowed Florida to take the lead. If we can jump out to an early two score lead and avoid the critical mistakes, I think we will be fine.

If this team needs to depend on tackling, Katie bar the door.

We won’t be able to do it with our “ bump “ tackling.
He is the type of back that refuses to go down.
You have to wrap him up, hold on and hope for help.

My fear for this game is if they stay close or get ahead by 2 scores or more, that the crowd makes it their bowl game and gives them an edge. They CAN play winning defense and our offense does tend to disappear in. the second half of games from time to time. Hopefully JA and the offense can go up early and take the crowd out of it.

The team needs to watch Perlotte game tape on loop to get inspired on how to tackle.
