I noticed in ESPN's top 2016 football moments after the National Championship game that TN had 4 "moments" included:

Vol Walk at Bristol
Battle at Bristol
GA Hail Mary
TX AM interception to end OT

As the 2016 season officially comes to a close, I want to thank UT football for one incredible and never boring season.

Perspective is important. Only one team raises the trophy at the end of each season. And yes, while we would love to win another title, UT football is about so much more than that. It's the memories of attending games with those we love. It's the sound of Rocky Top and how it makes us feel each and every time we hear it played. It's the roar of 100,000 who without notice of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or political preference - rise in unison after each and every touch down to hi five everyone near them. It highlights the humanity in us.

I can die tomorrow or live 50 more years- and being in Athens for the hail mary miracle will likely never be topped as my most memorable TN memory. Thank you Tennessee. May God keep each and everyone of us, and those we love, safe and sound until once again we hear those all familiar words:

"It's football time in Tennessee"

4 moments. 0 National Championships. :frown:

I hope you don't live your life focused on only the grand events. If so, you're missing one hell of a ride.

UT fans have had to be happy with the little things for 18 years and counting. I want an SEC title and a national title, but the many magical moments in this season are undeniably awesome.

We got more than 4 moments. We are the champions of LIFE. Beat that.

Well put sir. Despite the disappointments this season, being in person for the Texas A&M game and UGA will be moments I remember forever. More so Texas A&M for me...what a crazy game.

Titles are earned, not deserved. We haven't earned it as a team and our fan base doesn't deserve it.

AMEN! I was in Athens for the incredible comeback in 2006, as well: down three TDs at the half, then roared back to hang fifty on them.
