Vols fare on a Thursday

I was wondering ... how have Tennessee Vols fared in the past Thursday night games? Most teams are at a mindset for a Saturday game which feel normal. Did any of you feel out of place watching on a Thursday night?

Pretty good, the last time we played a Thursday night game we went undefeated and unscored on...in 1938

***Was not the unscored on season, we did go undefeated, and beat Kentucky 46-0 Nov 24, 1938

I believe that was the last night game in Neyland .... didn't we play a bowl game a couple years ago. I thought they got beat that game.

It shouldn't matter. UT has moved its opener to Sunday nights before. Oftentimes bowl games are played on other days besides Sat.

Actually Tennessee played Ole Miss in Memphis in 96 on a Thursday night.

2010 Music City Bowl was on a Thursday night. The Vols lost the game.
