Vols exit the top 25 for 2016

With our offensive and defensive ratings being what they were prior to this game, we shouldn't have been in the top 25 anyway honestly. There is something to be said for how you win games, and that whole " a win is a win" mindset is only true at the end of the season. Reality is that we were lucky to win against App State, VA Tech, and Georgia. We struggled with inferior teams when we were healthy, and it was just a matter of time before we lost to one once the injuries started mounting, and this probably won't be our last loss of the season.

I agree with the posts above. Unranked and deservedly so!

Wow, I hate to say that! My beloved VOLS have no right to be ranked. MEDIOCRITY reigns! We are who we are under Butch Jones.

I agree. I think the Vols better damm well drop out, because they haven't showed any type of consistant "rankable" play all year. No positive consistancy at all, in any one specific area.
-O line= horrible in every game because of the coaching and scheme used.
-recievers (besides Jennings)= horrible
- running backs (except for one game) horrible for the most part
-QB= horrible passing for MOST games, heroic and extremely lucky for some. We all know he is an amazing athelete when he has the downfield blocking and is able to run.
-tight ends hardly used due to poor o line play.
-D line=underperformed all year as a whole unit besides a few plays here and there that actually do stand out
-linebackers= horrible vs run and pass
-CB's= horrible all year, burned in every single game no matter the opposing talent
-safeties= Bad at times, ok at times and out of position constantly
-discipline level is every bit as bad as when Dooley was coaching....penalties, fumbles, confusion, players out of position, (in every single game).....it all boils down to bad coaching, there is just no other way to make sense of it. And no, not all injuries can be blamed on the S&C coach but DAYUM the injuries right? Just wow. At least we got to kind of enjoy some wins in the beginning of the season though, we saw some amazing (lucky) comebacks that will be talked about for a long time.l

FYP (kidding)

Anyways, its just football guys, theres always the nailbiter vs kentucky to look forward to lol. Cheers everyone!

Yep, we don't have to worry about being snubbed by the polls. This will put us out for good. This team doesn't belong on top 25. Maybe the voters seen the that from beginning and this is why we had the big drops, getting us put of the way for the real top 15 teams
