I don't know if the Vols were a little over confident tonight or if that was a good Wofford team, but UT struggled. I think Wofford has a couple of nice players on that team. They run a motion offense that was pretty effective against our defense. Wofford played zone in the second half and it seemed to bother us quite a bit. It cut down on our penetration and we did not attack it well at all. The game got a little out of hand at the end when Asumnu was called on a double technical and then Buzz followed that with a technical of his own. This game was much closer than the final score.
Scooter McFagdon played really well finishing with 31 and showing me that he is the leader of this team, but other than that the Vols were not really in sync. We showed our youth at times. I'll take the win, but it wasn't as easy as it should have been.
