Just finished my first season in NCAA 06. The results.......

vs. UAB 59-14 W
at Florida 27-17 W
at LSU 34-27 W
vs. Ole Miss 56-13 W
vs. Georgia 49-39 W
at Alabama 27-10 W
vs S. Carolina 41-31 W
at Notre Dame 36-26 W
vs Memphis 72-21 W
vs Vanderbilt 38-13 W
at Kentucky 49-42 W

SEC CHAMPIONSHIP

vs. Alabama 28-7 W

ROSE BOWL(NATIONAL TITLE)

vs. Florida 48-40 L

Talk about a sucky ending. Ainge started in all of the games but was pulled in some of them because of poor performance. Clausen played most of the rose bowl because of Ainge's less than mediocre play. Had to suspend Jason Hall for the season midway trough because of plagerism.

Just finished my second year in my vols dynasty. Big disappointment........here are the results.

W vs. California: 33-30(OT)
L at Memphis: 38-41
W vs. Florida: 27-24
L at Georgia: 16-44
W at Arkansas: 24-10
L at Boston College: 25-27
W vs Alabama: 24-14
L at S. Carolina: 34-37
W vs LSU: 35-21
W vs Kentucky: 68-10
W at Vandy: 42-21

W Capital One Bowl
Vols 28
Illinois Fighting Illini 10

This year was a big difference from last year as ut finished 8-4 with a ton of close games losing in al but one of them. Tennessee beating florida on a hail mary to win with time expired, finishing 2nd in the east behind georgia, and beating #7 illinois in the capital one bowl were the highlights of a bad year.

Florida always seems to turn out really good in the '06 season. Chris Leak is unstoppable that season.

I've done a number of Dynasties now, with many teams and Florida almost always seems to finish '06 top 5.

are u playing on super heisman or something.

sometimes i try to lose and i still cant...

i have never been defeated by the comp on any ncaa game.

does no one do the heisman thing.

i created myself and all u have to do is turn into the reciever and he catches it all the time. heisman his freshman season.

No... But maybe I should, as about 95% of all the other receivers in that game prefer to get smacked in the head instead of catching the damn ball.

I had a tough come from behind, with 3 sec left loss to South Carolina, but they dropped the next 2 games, giving me the SEC east crown, and winning the SEC champ. All the other top 10 teams had 2 losses, so I still managed to pull out a nat'l title in my 2nd season.

Now I need to recruit, and try to get some linemen. I got sacked WAY too much last season.

Also, I had a problem with Ainge really not playing well the 2nd half. He threw for maybe 2500 yards in the first 5 games, then maybe 1000 in the others...it was disappointing.

I had some REALLY close games in the 06 year. Come from behind to beat florida, georgia, lsu, but I smacked LSU down in the SEC champ.

The nat'l champ was against Penn State, who almost won. They held me to 10 points in the first 3 quarters, and I pulled a miracle in the 4th quarter, scoring 19 points to their 0. I ended up beating them by just a few points...REAL nail biter.

ainge played crappy the entire year in my 2nd season. he threw 14 tds and 17 ints. but he shared time with crompton because of ainge's bad play. crompton did much better throwin 6 tds and only 1 int. he is now my starting qb in my 3rd season even though i still have ainge. he just ain't cuttin it. i'll playin ainge only if crompton completely loses it and sucks.

ainge throws way to high in this game....i think he will be better than this game gives him credit for.

i have more success with scrambling qbs. on the run they throw perfect passes. ncaa has alot of real game moments that are no where near the real thing and they need to fix it.

Oh well. Ainge has somewhat of a low accuracy rating on this game, although his awareness and throw power are pretty good. Just gotta play the hell out of him and hope he trains real hard in the offseason.

Dang, what kind of plays are yall running? In my first season, Ainge threw for about 3,000 yards and 30 tds. He did have 12 picks, though, but still a decent td to int ratio.

I'm only a couple of games into the second season (I've played a few other seasons about halfway, and started over when I finally got my usb flash port to get the names downloaded), and has 6 tds and 4 picks. Not great, but I've been able to get Arian Foster going pretty good.

Im in my 2nd season in Race for the heisman mode. I actually managed to get a scholarship to UT as a QB!!!. Luck i guess. I played in Varsity difficulty the first year and won the nat'l Championship. The 2nd year i kept my difficulty on varsity but bumped all the CPU sliders up to 70 percent. I Had only one loss, a loss to florida in 3 overtimes!!!
After that had a road scare at South Carolin and almost a major upset at Vanderbilt where i we stayed tied up until 1'30 left in the 4th quarter when i got an interception and went ahead 21-14. I beat LSU in the sec game 34-7 and KILLED Texas A&M 59-7 in the national championship game. A&M had no business palying in that game.. but they were the only undefeated team. Get to knock off Alabama at Neyland and the Tide at the time was ranked #1. By the way... If you like a balanced pass offense but dont like the generic one.. Use Utah's playbook.

well how about at the end of my first season. Gerald riggs had 2,400 yards rushing and 32 touchdowns and still didnt win the heisman. Screw Linehart to hell.

im playin on all-american mode. ive heard heisman is way 2 hard. all-american can be way too easy at times though.

All-american goes back and forth...some games I can put up 50+ points, others I do good to get 20...

I play on all american mode. I turn there ai sliders all the way to 99 on everything, and move my run blocking up to 70. that is perfect for me.

But its not going by any kind of set thing...ill put up a ton of points on a top 5 team, then can barely score on a lower top 25, or non-ranked team...

It's almost as if sometimes the game will 'cheat' a little, make plays that don't make sense, or have the HB break 10 tackles on one run, or have a team, in the 1st quarter to try a 4th and long from their own 20..and then make it..

anybody recruited a good kicker in the game yet? ive got this guy named willis brooks who a freshman in my 3rd season. hes already kicked 11 field goals in the first 4 games. including about 4 from 50 yards or more and one 56 yarder.

Yeah at the end of my first season Wilhoit left to go to the nfl and I got a 5 star kicker. He is very good. Can't remember his name though.

There's usually not too many high-rated kickers each recruiting season. Maybe one or two four stars, maybe a five star. They're tough to find.
