Tennessee put the leadoff hitter on base in three of the final four innings and had a runner reach third three different times, but couldn't capitalize as No. 2 Kentucky used a five-run seventh inning to claim the series finale against the Volunteers, 6-0, in a seven-inning contest on a picture-perfect Sunday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

A deplorable defeat losing a double header unable to win the series after winning the Opener.
With the loss Vols are now 2-4 in the SEC, and so is Vandy since the were able to take 2 of 3 from the UG Dawgs.

should be 17-11 after next week. 4-5 in sec. should win 2 of 3 from bama. they are a crummy team

A lot of baseball still to be played but I am going to say it anyway. The loser of this up coming weekend series will not make it to Hoover.

The winner might not either but the loser is out for sure IMO.

Vols pitching is better than expected. Vols offense is worse than we expected.
