Playing in its second straight ESPNU Thursday Night SEC Game of the Week, the Tennessee baseball team scored a run in the first inning, but Alabama responded with seven unanswered over the next six frames en route to a 8-2 victory at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

Pathetic,I was going to watch it but I just had finished my supper and wanted to keep it down.

Hauled off two loads of brush and got bug bites. Much more pleasant than watching the baseball team suffer yet another defeat.

Surprised we have baseball fans. Baseball sucks and so does our team. No major league team in Tennessee either.. I've never really enjoyed the sport and that might be why. I personally find it boring. It's like NASCAR, only enjoyable when you are in attendance

That may be an SEC record for futility. Additionally if they haven't already set the school record for consecutive losses then they have to be awfully close. I think they are hitting about 200 in SEC games.

Ouch

I love baseball, and we have a really beautiful stadium and if you've not been to a UT baseball game, you should, at least occasionally. There is a home game same evening as the O&W game so Im thinking I will mosey on over once I leave Neyland. It is difficult to watch at times right now; the numbers being put up by this coaching regime wouldn't be tolerated in football or basketball, not sure why it is with baseball.

I was going to point out that the baseVols are in Bama this weekend, but to be honest, you'll probably enjoy just sitting in an empty LNS more than you'd enjoy watching this team.

I wonder if the moving van they used for Bill Battle is still road worthy...

Baseball coaches aren't worthy of getting the moving van...AD's on the other hand...
