A balanced offensive attack led the Tennessee baseball team (13-2) to its first four-game sweep in nearly 50 years as 11 different players had at least one hit and all nine starters scored at least one run in its 15-1 victory over Manhattan on a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

I hope we don't use up all this magic. Leave some for SEC play.:)
Who would have thought this?
GO VOLS!

It's not really surprising considering the competition. The teams Tennessee has played have been mediocre to awful.

100% agree that the competition is down. However, in the previous 3 years we couldnt even beat the smaller schools.

Did we play Manhattan last year?

It's a fantastic win against another cupcake school. For the third time this week in their 7 game win streak they won by 14.
They scored runs in 7 out of 8 innings.
42 of 47 successful stolen bases.
6 times the Vols have scored 3 or more runs in the 5th. A total of 33 runs scored in the 5th inning this year.

One more home game before they go on the road.
The Vols will have to play as terrific as they have been when they start the division games against Kentucky on the road.
