If true, has to be Fulmer's connection.

EDIT: Then again, the Lady Vols did play at UTC.

The Tennessee and ETSU baseball teams have been playing home and homes for several years.

I live in Tri Cities and never seen the vols play here besides baseball and I am 38 years old. It will be cool for the Tri Cities if your a vol fan in 2016... TN vs VT in football and ETSU in bball.

The message I got said to contact ETSU for ticket info. I can't believe tickets would be on sale this early, would they?

Yes! A lot of folks already have tickets! They have been offered to season ticket holders for the races first! Believe it or not, it will be a hard ticket to get as the time draws near. They have been taking $40 deposits for some but not all.

This is gonna sound stupid and I m ashamed to ask,but why is this such a big deal?
Because there is a lot of Big Orange support in Tri Cities area and is cool to see our vols in our backyard. I think for years people thought the state ended in Knoxville. In 2012 UT also showed some love to Tri Cities with fall practice at Milligan college.

Its a very cool thing because, you hardly ever have major programs visiting smaller programs. Usually you pay Tenn. Tech, ETSU, Lipscomb or a team like those to come to TBA. It's cool that Tennessee will be playing in a small town college arena. Honestly in 2016-17, we will have Owens,McGhee,Hubbs(maybe),Woodson, Mostella, and Carmichael as upperclassmen. Add in Admiral/Philips we hopefully are ranked if they all continue to develop.

I am glad to see UT going to Johnson City and giving ETSU fans a chance to see them play plus it gives CDT and staff a chance to recruit in that area.

Lol is Johnson City at all a decent place for recruits?

If Tennessee continues to grow, we could be a ranked team in 2016-17 and ETSU would be hosting one of their first "ranked" home games in a long time, Im sure.

Just shows how low the program has sunk. Can' believe this will happen. Who is next on the schedule...Walters State.
