Here is how it would be Tennessee, Kentucky, and Auburn all tie then the first tiebreaker would be head to head of all three teams Tennessee 2 and 1, Auburn 1 and 1, Kentucky 1 and 2 so Auburn and Tennessee is the one seed.If Vols beat Arkansas and Auburn loses to Mississippi state how does the seeding work for the sec tourney? Anyone have a clue?
Auburn only played Kentucky and Tennessee once apiece, meaning their record is 1-1. Doesn't that give us the tie break with our 2-1 record? Here is how it would be Tennessee, Kentucky, and Auburn all tie then the first tiebreaker would be head to head of all three teams Tennessee 2 and 1, Auburn 2 and 1, Kentucky 1 and 2 so Auburn and Tennesse tie coin flip. We need Kentucky to lose to get it to us and Auburn then were the number one.

First, I do not think we want the 'burden' of a #1 seed.I believe #1 would only be for bragging rights, the top 4 all have a good seeding in the SEC Championship. However, in the NCAA Tournament, it makes a big difference. Winning the regular season and the SEC Championship could sneak UT into a #1 seed...jmo.

Uh.. I think they are talking about #1 seed in the SECT.First, I do not think we want the 'burden' of a #1 seed.
Second, I do not see any realistic path to a #1 seed.
I would be giddy with a #2 seed ... we have to win the next 4 games to get that ticket. Likely means we have to beat Arkansas twice in a week ... think about that ... and then we have to beat Auburn or Kentucky twice in a row. That Vol fans would be the stuff of legends. First SECT title in over 40 years!
