We have a good coach and some nice recruits that will be here next year. This year's team will be, well.... not very good.

but Pearl can make them decent, right? i mean that is why we hired him. all teams are built with all-americans but their coach can will them to win. i figured Pearl to be one of those types.

I will cheer for any VOL team. If they had an underwater basket weaving team, I would cheer for them. :clapping:

These guys just aren't very good and are not very well coached in the fundamentals. No question we will win more games than with Buzz but .500 is a stretch.

That said, I'll be there supporting them.

I do not care what the record is this year I just want to go over there to the Tommy Bowl and watch a team put forth a decent effort every game. Give CBP a few years and we will be one of the top teams in the SEC year in and year out.

I do not think we will be anything to boast about, but I do think we will see a major improvement in the guys from last year. This system will favor Watson and Lofton. Lofton is having great practices. If we stay away from injuries in the post we can upset some teams. There is an open scrimmage this Saturday at around 11:00 am it is open to the public.

Don't forget the Midnight Madness thing (I am not sure what they are calling it) at TBA at 8:00 on Friday.

Why is the scrimmage so early? I thought they would do it later since the football game is not til 7:45

I imagine that Pearl wanted a couple of weeks to work with these guys first.

I think we have a chance to be a .500+ team and get an int bid. Well I hope anyways.

Yes we can cheer about getting rid of Buzz,

Pearl is the best thing that has happened to UT basketball since Ray Mears was sane. :dance2:
