The Vol in me wants to complain about us not moving up since we started at 9 and have won but the honest side of how we have played says I cant. Wonder how if we get one of 2 from the next two games and win the SEC title game a one loss UT will fair in final ranks?

A one loss SEC champion would be in the playoffs in my opinion

the only team in history to win their first 5 games and be in the same place in the poll as they started. i can only laugh. i kind of like it. if we can go 1-1 in these next two games we will be sitting very pretty. the bye week will be very, very good for us. need guys back badly.

Not good. Not good at all. Look up what happens to every #9 this year. Bad games resulting in dropping in the polls (even with a win) or just straight up losing. Places us behind the 8-ball right out of the gate. On second thought, right where we want to be? 4 full quarters vs A&M immenent.

Washington was #9 last week. That turned out pretty well.

I said yesterday in the UofL thread we would be 9 right behind UofL...gimme a dollar and I'll tell you who your wife is sleeping with.

I think we should be right behind aTm, either 7 and 8 or 8 and 9. Our slow starts and inconsistent play has cost us a few spots. I'm really hoping we come out and play 4 quality qtrs against aTm. That would make TSIO a marquee matchup.

And yet, the game board yesterday was all "Fire Butch" and we have a horrible coaching staff. I remember just a few years ago at this time in the season, looking at rest of schedule and seeing how we could even possibly come up with 6 wins to make it to a bowl game.

This is much better !

I have a complaint and I also have a comment. Complaint: We are 4 - 0, yet Louisville is ranked ahead of us. Why????????????????? Comment: Should we beat # 7 A & M, we will climb in to the top #5.
