I was wonderin earlier in the week would it have been wiser to get the trip behind them say on Wednesday to avoid any travel fatigue issues.

The NCAA won't allow it. They had to get special permission to leave early - and they only gave them 3 hours. The NCAA rule is 48 hours prior to game time. I don't think that they can leave until 5:00.

well they had to ask the NCAA to let them leave on Thursday just for travel/fatigue/weather issues so, I would think leaving on Wed. was really out of the question, just because of missing class and that stuff.

They've already left campus, but maybe their plane doesn't leave until 5:00.

yeah sounds strange, but the NCAA has lots of stupid rules i suppose. I mean the average team only has like 5 or 6 road games a year and they allow basketball teams to play on thursdays and therefore travel on weds 10-15 times a year.

Does anyone find it interesting that the article says Ainge took every snap in practice, but the picture that goes along with the article has Crompton in the huddle...???

Well...I didn't get the impression from Dave Nathan's practice report that Ainge took EVERY snap...but the Fulmer quote did say that. Maybe he just meant that he took every snap they asked him to without problems...
