Agreed... I'm not sure exactly how to feel about our line issues (other than that they were not good), but showing absolutely ZERO improvement on special teams was what sucked most.
Is that to say giving Fulmer the boot, or cutting this nonsense with two DL coaches and getting a special teams coach? This isn't the first time this has happened. The special teams were horrible in 2002. They didn't improve next season. Or the next. It continues. They've been really bad for quite awhile now. With guys like Wilhoit and Colquitt the Vols special teams of late shouldn't have been so terrible. I'd be willing to bet my life savings the special teams will be horrible next year if the coaching staff remains unchanged.

Well all I have to say is that the Vols is on their way down. I am not basing this on the loss tonight and if you think different then I think you are kidding yourself like I have been. After this mediocre year the recruits will fall off even more and the other sec teams that are on the rise will start getting more and more of them. It is just a cycle and it happens to every big team. We started to climb up, we peaked, and now the steady decline.
