Andrew Gantz. This according to Scout.com. Apparently a walk on. Shows he had offers from other schools including Cincy, but chose UT. I guess time will tell if he"s ELITE. But hey, can't be much worse than what we've already got. GBO!!!

And getting walkons is a sign of a HEALTHY FOOTBALL PROGRAM. The competition will produce hard work and good kicking results! Welcome to Tennessee, a program with a history of great kickers!!!

At least be able to kick a point after be nice not to have to get on your hands and knees and pray for a 24 yard field goal to be good.

I'm ok with it. I usually check the threads on the main screen to get my info. Probably has to do with me having a job, wife and kids. I don't have 10 hours a day to search for info. Glad you do.:good!:

I have this comment on Cincy type recruits. Cincy had UL on the ropes and if they the right QB playing would have beat them handily. They were co-BE champions. UL beat UF badly. That's something UT recruits have not done in quite some time. Seems to me we need more Cincy type recruits to beat the top tier in the SEC. They try harder.

How did those Cincy recruits fare against a bad UT team coached by the Dools last year?

This kid went to my high school alma mater. I'm in college myself so I'm still around every now and then. He was clutch this year for his team and watching him kick before games doesn't surprise me that CBJ went after him

You should post more often. You've been here 2 years & just now said something?

"Just wait to be pretty surprised on signing day. We already got (MarQuez) North last night at wide receiver — that was a pretty big commitment — and coach (Butch) Jones is one of the best recruiters in the country. I think everyone's going to be pretty surprised with what happens on Wednesday, if everything lines up like it's supposed to be."
