I think he just left the team, saying he didn't want to play any more. What a shame - even with his knee injury, I believe he still could have done well in the NFL.

I believe he holds the single game rushing record for UT - 294 yards (I think) against Ole Miss.

Last I heard on Webb, he had signed with Green Bay. But while in training camp he blew out a knee, it was either the same one or the other side. After that he retired.
