Is that the 2nd best all-time 3 point shooter for UT, or the 2nd best all-time 3 point shooter in college basketball?

The big ooc games I want to see are Memphis, Texas, and OSU. Texas isn't a certainty, but I'm pretty sure we'll see them in the preseason tournament.

Mark my word Tennesse vs. Memphis will be a matchup between the #1 and #2 teams in the nation in no particular order

It's simply amazing that, just 2 full seasons removed from Buzzball, we're discussing Tennessee as a legitimate top 5 team...Bruce Pearl is a miracle worker. I've never been more excited about a basketball season on Rocky Top.

Yep, Bruce is the man, we need to sign him to the biggest contract in basketball. I don't want him leaving Knoxville.

If they have UT at #3, it means they've ranked them ahead of at least one, and really two, teams they have no business being ahead of in a preseason poll.

That's excactly what I thought, but I'll take it. UNC, Kansas, Memphis, and Kansas should all be ahead of them.

The fact that UT can be ranked number anywhere in the top 10 with 0 high-school All-Americans is pretty incredible.

Yes Bruce Pearl said it himself due to our tough schedule he does not think rankings will be the true measure of his team, there are no cupcakes on our schedule. With that said even so we should be a top 10 team with a verry high rpi whin you come down to it will means much more than rankings.

I have no problem with UT being ahead of Memphis. We stomped them last year, and every time we play against a zone defense similar to their's, we score a lot of points.

rankings during the season mean nothing. It's all about the strength of schedule when it comes down to the seeding:good!:

We gave Memphis their worst lose of the season last year. We've dramatically improved our team this year. They are the ones that needs to prove they are better than us. We should definitely be ranked ahead of them until they show they can beat us. Will be a good game this year, but I expect the same outcome.
