in golf...thought i'd share a tennessee sport that wasn't completely tanking this year.

Cameron Lawrence #6

They finished second in the tournament last weekend behind number 1 Oklahoma State. Tournament included 5-6 of the top ten teams in the nation.

they're one team that is actually beating some top 10 teams!

Oklahoma State is. They are LOADED with talent. Morgan Hoffman is number one overall and Trent Leon and Rickie Fowler are both in the top ten. Peter Uihlein is also on the Cowboys roster and is a former Rolex Junior Player of the Year.

Someone might recognize the Uihlein name, and yes, he really is golf royalty so to speak.

no, utc was in the tournament but finished 11th, 50 strokes off the lead. they're number 16 in the nation...tennessee was second in the tournament, 16 shots back. i'd say oklahoma state is the clear cut #1 team in the nation

ETSU is also 34th in the nation with a very young (and very european) team.
