Both Massey and Sagarin have us at #11 after the Pitt win.

Our opponents in Massey, Sagarin:

Alabama: 1, 1
Georgia: 2, 2
Kentucky: 10, 17

Florida: 24, 35
Pitt: 32, 37
South Carolina: 49, 48

LSU: 50, 23
Mizzou: 63, 77
Vanderbilt: 76, 98

The computer rankings seem very divided on Florida and LSU.

Massey's expected win value for us is 8.05 wins - 3.95 losses.

So am I. Really hard to say what happens if LSU or gators come to play and we are off like we were yesterday. That 8-4 season has us losing to Bama, GA and KY +1 other. I think if we can tighten down a bit perhaps we can grab another one. No reason at all we cannot be 9-3 and 10-2 is certainly possible. KY may not hold up, especially coming to our house.

It's so early in the season it's hard to tell on most teams.

Was Utah severely overrated? Did Florida just have their once-a-year Heisman QB game that is usually against us then slump? Is Texas actually good? Is Bama finally showing kinks in the armor? Is Kentucky finally legit?

It's hard to tell. Pitt was a tough team and this squad just pulled off a tough and gritty win on the road against a good team. The O will need to click and the D will need to play well if we're to beat Florida.

I don’t see Bama as #1…still in the top 5 but they are definitely mortals. They’ve had an incredible run of first round draft picks at WR but they are lacking there this year. I know they have some raw talent at WR but they just don’t have those game changers like they‘ve had. I’m not saying we beat them but I do believe we at least have a shot.

The things that got my attention about Kentucky were: 1) They went into the swamp and won; 2) they did so without their best RB (who will play against us); 3) their QB looked 100% better than last year. I don’t see them withering so that game is gonna be a big time physical battle.

You can say that again.
