Desmond Howard just picked the Vols to be the #1 team in the east....He also said that LSU is going to be to much for the Vols to handle in the SECC game....This is on ESPN College Football Live...

You mean Desmond Howard is still employed by espn.Man thats bad like the pick though.Although he probably says we will lose to Cal also.Like the rest of America.

well obviously, howard is about to get fired. anybody that picks tennessee for anything other than a loss isn't keeping an espn job, because espn hates us. they despise us. they do everything they can to run us into the ground. no way would they ever start a show referring to UT and "pinky-gate". i mean they can't stand ut and never give us respect. I wonder what desmond howard is going to do now?

So he is predicting an UT/LSU SECCG....GREAT!!! Gives us an opportunity for a little payback.

I just hope Howard is only half right

Yeah, the show started out talking about EA's bad luck...And one of the guys said he spoke with him and he said that he is playing...Also said because it is his pinky it will not affect him like it would if it were his thumb,pointer, or middle finger...

All in your imagination. ESPN doesn't hate us. Get the chip off your shoulder, man. the last player on one of their new advertisements is Eric Ainge holding his hands up after a TD pass. they jump on us every time CBS passes us up. They love Bruce Pearl and Pat Summitt. It is not their fault we haven't been a top ten team since 2001. When we win some big games again, the tune will change.

i admit to being gone for awhile and so some of the newer posters don't really know me, but I thought I had my post dripping with enough sarcasm to get my point across. Evidently I failed.

it's alright. it's good to know that some of these new kids here do know what they're talking about. volnation consists of about three things football-wise...

1. fire/keep fulmer
2. espn hates us
3. trooper is God.

that's what all football debates boil down to. for the record i'm on the fire fulmer, espn doesn't hate us, trooper is a good position coach, but he still has to prove himself as anything other than that though sides.

Ha! Actually, it was a typo. I just finished an email to a cousin of mine who has a daughter named PAYton. I'll try not to let it happen again:wink2:

At least I didn't spell Eriq Aynj's name wrong...
