I really think there are 3. Coaches with great players, coaches looking for jobs, and coaches with great players who don't know how to use them right. Dooley was the third kind. He had great players, and couldn't win with it.
Let us not forget that we have one of the toughest schedules in the nation next year. Do not expect a big turnaround in wins and losses. We can expect improvement in our ability to be in the games til the end. In other words, do not get your hopes too high for this coming season but, enjoy the progress.

Like a lot of people....had a job, but didn't want to work. At least that's what it's beginning to look like. I think he tried the first year, but I think this past season he just gave up. Oh well. Proud to have Butch as coach, no matter what happens. Can't say he didn't work his butt off. Made up a lot of ground in just 2months.
Love how bUTch and the boys have gone about trying to get it rebuilt in only 31 actual recruiting days. Dobbs, Miller, North, Jenkins et al are very good gets. Sure wish we could've stolen a Lawson Ford or Levenberry but it wasn't realistic in the end. If Boyd signs and we hold Bell we have to be happy and look forward to '14 for a huge class starting with Jalen Hurd. Go bUTch!
I noticed half of the top ten live in the SEC and we play three of them. WHEW!! :loco:
It's hard to out recruit that NFL farm club in tuscaloser.
Ole Miss, Auburn tear it up. We have become an also ran and an afterthought. Auburn's coach just took over about the same time as Jones did at UT. I can't even watch ESPNU.
