Guys, welcome to the 16th annual weekly pick contest, which will last the entire season and consist of 13 weekly entries.

Each week I will select 10 games from around college football, which will be posted usually on Monday. I will not include any Thursday or Friday games, just to keep things consistent with the entry deadline.

All entries will be due before noon (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

The season winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.

There’s a joke in there somewhere about small furry animals but I’ll skip it. I agree that Iowa wins this one but it would be cool to see the Goophers keep it going.

Hawkeyes held on but Minnesota was impressive in the loss. Really great old school fight in the trenches football game.

Got 7 picks right - just balances out last week’s 7 wrong.

I spent 30 seconds tops just going with my gut and got 8 right which is tied for the best I've done this year. Maybe I've stumbled onto the way to win? Too late for this year, but there always bowl season.

I was close to the top on picks last bowl season by flipping a coin. That probably says more about how much bowls matter to players than anything else though.

Well, I guess I am going to have to retire from picking every single week. I just can not seem to find my picking mojo like I have had in the past. I would have to pick 10 for 10 the last few weeks to even crack the top 10. If I were in Vegas I would be flat broke and working the streets for cash to get home.
