Where do they go to better understand what the paying customers want to see? Who tells them realistically what is working and what is not from the fan’s perspective?

They really don't honestly. Everything is through boosters with $. There are a few boosters that linger on here to get a feel for what we think and take into consideration. Honestly though, as fans, we don't exactly give our boosters the warm fuzzies about anything. I know one major booster that could care less about being involved and hasn't the past couple coaching searches specifically because no one wants to shell huge bags of cash and always have people hate you no matter what. Been a long time since there has not been major internal strife between boosters, administration and the fan base.

This year is an asterisk year and level-headed administrations dealing with facts rather than assumptions are fairly loathe to make waves. Global pandemics tend to do that.

Message boards attract the most intense fans, which means that the outcry here is close to statistically insignificant. If Volnation were a state in the electoral college of UT Football it would be Rhode Island.

They have their metrics to operate from. A move will happen when the people paid (or the boosters paying) to make it happen decide the financial and stigma price are less expensive than the price of continuing.

Again, global pandemic. Y'all do know one is happening, right?
