We need some more callers on Volnation live or the show might just go away. We have about 20-25 people in the chat room each show and only about 4 callers a week. We had one new caller the other night and the rest were "regulars". I enjoy the show and it is a no pressure, relaxed show that is as good if not much better than the crap you hear on local Kville talk. So I am going to try and post a poll on what night would be better. It was mentioned that we might need to move it from Sunday night to another. If the I can't get a poll going mods feel free to fix it. The days that some have mentioned are Wed, Tues, Sun(current), or Friday. I hope we can get some new callers in. Football may be winding down but our hoops team should be plenty to keep us talking through the winter.

I think sticking it to the main forum would be a good thing. I also think that we need to advertise more within the site. The index page is good, but it's no where else on the forums from what I have seen. Even sticking it to EVERY forum would be good. Sunday night is a good time to do it because the fire of the topics tend to die down after 2-3 days. Even doing it on Monday night would be a good idea, IMO.

When does this take place? I would participate in it..
That is awesome. There is a link on the home page to the website that you can sign up for a free account which is needed to listen and use the chatboard live during the show. Gatorhater eric is good with all that computer mumbo jumbo so he can help with any tech difficulties. Hope to hear from you Sunday night, please call in.

I wonder if Freak can make a thread and highlight the thread starter in a color so that it will stand out from the other threads.

I think with hoops season upon us, Wednesdays or Tuesdays are best because we play a lot of games on those days.

I like the idea of the radio show, but that chat room killed it for me. There should just be a thread or even Forum for the show, maybe with threads only created by the hosts, and questions or comments could be answered by the hosts. For instance, the hosts could decide what the topics they want to cover on the show, post them in threads, and members post reponses, maybe shying away from too much discussion, just their ideas to the topics presented. The host would then single out certain posters opinions, opening up a reason for calls/objections.

The chat room is one of the best parts. That's what some of the show's content comes from.

I currenrtly like Sundays because that is right after our games on Saturday.

With BB seadson, I could see moving it if necccesary
but I would leave it on Sunday till after the bowl season

what about doing the pre-game thing when available on saturday? or if the game isn't in a late time slot, do a post-game show. just be sure that it doesn't conflict with the locker room show.

Leave it on Sundays, just start the show around 10 so that more people would be able to get on and call. Seriously, what is there to do at 10 o'clock at night on a Sunday?

good input, looks like most people are happy with Sunday night. Good point about moving it when bball season is in full swing. I am thinking they are looking at moving it up to 2000 instead of back to 2200. But, who knows. Hope so see u guys in there win or lose this sunday at 2030. If the time changes I am sure that Freak and Larkin will let us know.

After I was directed by link to the chat room/radio show, my first thought was I would like to simply enjoy the show for what it is and I have no interest in the chat room (especially signing up, etc). Seems to me, from the ones who listen and use the chat room, that the chat room and show go hand in hand. I just think this adds too many levels to a radio show. Its like the Atlanta Braves "Choptalk" website that was or is advertised here. Why would I go to another site to talk sports when I fully enjoy coming here and talking sports? And while the chat room does add another dynamic, its probably why 'yall have such few callers too.
