VolNation feels like a Funeral the last 24 hours from the obituaries, eulogies, and the 7 stages of grief. I guess this place is therapeutic.

It is a funeral. We were murdered by Ky. The equivalent of dying on the toilet.

Which just happens to be where Tennessee football is right now.

So you are saying there is a chance....

Of course it will get better because losing to Bama will feel better than losing to UK. Actually losing to anyone with exception of Vandy will feel better than losing to UK in football.

It is. Watching the slow death of our football program has been like watching someone going through a 12 year battle with cancer. 2008 was when it was first diagnosed. Then the constant coaching hires/staff changes has been the chemo/radiation treatments. The fleeting wins and bowl appearances here and there have been the "good days" or times we thought it was in remission. Now its at the point where we can "lift it off the sheet ourselves."

They are the Frank Mir of college football. How many times did he say "I'm back?" Just 2 weeks ago was another round of "we're back!" Then you drop 2 in a row and look like a .500 team.

If we can win the game after Bama I will feel a little better, that will put us at 3-3.

Ah yes, Tennessee the only place we fire the DL coach for our shortcomings on Offense. Guarantano, Weinke and Will ( Best ) Friend must all know where the bodies are buried

No way we end up at 5-5
I had hope we might get .500 before the season started.
Saturday dashed those hopes.
We have no gimme games.
We ARE the gimme game.
It is a sad state of affair.

I’m at a worse point, acceptance. I used to get all mad and upset. Now it’s just like expected, the sun will come up tomorrow and Tennessee will suck at football

It’ll get worse before it gets better.

Another ship slowly sinking because Fulmer made the wrong hire.

I think it’s better than after the Georgia Southern game last year. Sadly, we are accustomed to it
