Any of you goons want to have some friendly competition this fall? I havent created a league yet, thought i would see if there was any interest and get an idea of what league settings most of you like. I prefer ESPN or CBS. Hell if it goes well i might make it a keeper league..


Dont be scared now...

I'm in.

What format do you suggest:

IDP?
if so, what IDP (DL, DE, LB, etc)
Number of teams in league (10 or 12)?
PPR?

We should figure out the ground rules and set up an ESPN league.

there is a thread in the nfl forum. i am in for sure. i would much rather you be the commish mullet. there is 8 people that have already comitted. we had 2 last year and in the league i was in about half took it serious. i am ready tho!!!

i wouldn't mind getting in another on this year. last year did two and by week 3 about 1/3 weren't even playing and another 1/3 wouldn't do any type of transactions, just switch players in and out. i like the leagues where there is movement going on with players and a lot of activity.

yeah that sounds cool.. we need some serious people. i mean cereal people.. I hate people zoning out after the first week. Its 5 minute commitment a week..

i like the standard rules on espn , i wouldnt mind 10-12 teams and two divisions. set up the playoffs where the division winners gets byes..

hey rp what site is you're league on?

I want to play again. I'm a serious player, finished in 4th last year in 12 team league first timer.

we did yahoo last year, but i am down for whichever one everybody else wants. i have played on yahoo and espn. i think yahoo is a little better than espn imo. alot of people were talking about nfl.com. i am good with any of em.

i will say that i don't think you can do a 2 div league in yahoo. that does sound pretty cool.

Would anyone be interested in playing in an IDP experts league? Your only players would be 4 DL, 3 LB and 4 DB

ok so we have first and tenn, rp, fleetwood,dantheman,banman,rbroyles,askn, and i.

8 so far, i say we shoot for 12 but 10 will do..

so im leaning towards ESPN, im pro 2 divisions as opposed to one because its just a cluttered mess with 10-12 teams .

I do want to check out NFL.com and see the setup there..

Live draft everyone? we can of course do it through the website or could make a thread on here but that would seem harder to keep up with.

I like the 2 division style.

If we use standard ESPN rules:

1. No IDP
2. No PPR (Points Per Reception)
3. Positions you get: QB, RB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, TE, D/ST, K

I'd be happy with ESPN, NFL.com, or Yahoo

Who's going to setup the league?

for the most part i like you're setup.. im not sure about the 3 RB though

so ESPN it is, we have that down.. still looking for at least one more to join


LIVE DRAFT everybody give me a time window thats usually good for you guys so i can nail down a draft time...

I'll play if there is a spot but NFL.com is much more of a quality site. Of course y'all might not want me in since I believe in kicking ass.

i did nfl.com lsat year and i know we had two divisions and if i'm not still incredibly drunk from last night i'm waning to say we had three divisions, 4 teams each. but don't take my word for it, i think i am still drunk

i tired to navigate nfl.com drunk last night and it was confusing to me, i couldnt find a place for league settings and what options you have.. ok lets take a vote nfl.com or espn
