:) I know!! Little did I know that St. Louis County would finally wake up and deliver some votes for the Dem!! I am glad to eat those words! It was funny. I didn't see how she was going to make it up. Then, she jumped up to +14k and I was able to find about another 30k that I thought would go her way.

Tester is looking ok in Montana and Webb's lead will help going into the recount. It looks like the Senate may change hands...I never thought that would happen tonight. The best I thought would happen was 50/50.

Well all in all it was a great night for my party. Got the house easy and looks like we are going to get the senate too. I hate that Ford lost but oh well.

This election was all about Iraq and Katrina. They made almost all independents vote Dem.

People are fed up with Bush. That is all there is to it.

It's hard to say that it wasn't. No one would tell you that directly. But, Katrina put a big dent in Bush's armor ... and that weakness was further exploited when things turned more sour in Iraq ... and the Abramhof scandle took off. Then, more ethical scandals in congress. It is hard to say what the initial displeasure with the way the Bush administration did during Katrina hurt them later.
