First off a close friend of mine owns this cabin...


Here are the original prices for the 3 days:

1. July 17th = Season Rate of $355.00
2. July 18th = Peak Rate of $435.00
3. July 19th = Peak Rate of $435.00

Grand Total = $1,225.00

In the beginning my buddy agreed to do 50% off on the cabin plus cleaning ($75), and the total was $687.50 ($1,225.00/2 = $612.50 + $75.00 = $687.50)

At first it seemed like we were filling it up but things slacked off and we only had 4 to 5 solid commits. So on Thursday I told my buddy that more than likely I will have to cancel the cabin due to not getting enough money collected. This is a quote from my buddy..."If my friends can not rent it then why should I own it. Give me what you get and don't worry about it"

So the conclusion of the story is... No Pay (100.00 per person 9 max) Equals No Stay! I'm not trying to be a hard-ass but I'm taking care of my buddy here for what is doing for me/us.

i'd love to come but i'll have my daughter that weekend and as much as i like you guys, i'm not giving up 3 days with her to spend with it there. if it was a different weekend that i didn't have her, i'd be there.
