Wasn't talking about as a corner in Myles case. But Teague looked better to ME in his highlight film on D. But I'm really talking about as DBs.

I'm not sure what highlight film you watched but teague was much better with the ball in his hand. He ran a 4.5 but I have seen him much faster than that in a game. He had one game he only ran the ball 4 times but had 171 yards and 3 touchdowns and didn't play the second half. He is amazing with the ball and I think they should try to get him in the open field as much as they can. I tried to post this years and last years henry county highlight tapes but I couldn't figure it out. A guy to look at next year comin out of henry county. Shonte simms. He's a safety and been startin for 3 years. He kept us in the playoffs last year with what we call "the play." We also have a very good runnin back next year but I don't think tennessee needs another rb.

I think Teague ends up on defense. it doesnt matter how good he was on offense in high school. see Eric Berry. Teague would make a great corner.

I don't care where he ends up. I just wanna see him on the field. But if he plays corner I think he is gonna need some work. When do freshman come in and start workin out with the team.

June. He's a natural athlete with good hips. He should take to cornerback pretty easy, especially in the tampa 2. he just have to cover his area and make the tackle. not a whole lot of turn and run in man coverage. He could be good on either side of the ball though.

Is practice open. I live too far to come watch but I would like someone to tell who looks good and who needs work.

yes Kiffin holds open practices. We should get a good idea of what the freshman bring to the table. Kiffin has already state the upperclassmen better do what they can now because Kiffin is going to put the freshman in there when they get to campus to see if they can help or not this year.

Well Sims won't be the QB, hes gone to AL. I think we'll get Heaps. I'd like to see us get Memphis WR Keiwone Malone, who committed to Bama and get Memphis LB Justin Maclin who I hear is a stud. I think Toney Williams will make a better FB for some reason, and put Oku at RB. What about Robert Nelson or Marlon Walls at LB? What will Jacques Smith play DE or LB?

He's a good player but he's not better than Myles Jr. or Teague. Eric Gordon is the wildcard. Don't really know how good he is.

Gordon can play ball. Yet to be seen if he can play academics. If he can, he'll be a major player in 4 years. He's very explosive.

got me thinking since the guy posted the vol defense in 4 years.

QB - Phillip Simms
RB - Toney Williams(Bryce will be gone in 3)
FB - ?
WR - Jabriel Washington(Nu'keese will be gone in 3)
WR - Markeith Ambles
TE - Christian Coleman
OT - Antonio Richardson
OT - Jerquari Schofield
OG - Eric Maclain
OG - Chaz Green
C - Kevin Revis

DE - Jacques Smith
DE - Willie Bohannon
DT - Montori Hughes
DT - EJ Ferguson
WLB - Herman Lathers
MLB - Jerod Askew
SLB - Greg King
CB - Mike Edwards
CB - Marsalis Teague
SS - Darren Myles
FS - Janzen Jackson

how would you guys feel about this team?

Good list but I would insert Avery Williamson in place of Greg King. Has the ACT, 6'2" 220lbs, max bench 365, cleaning 310 and will knock your head off. He recently benched 185 lbs. 23 times.

Jabriel is a very good player and Christian Coleman will be the one to get. Could play DE or TE at 6'4" 245. They are both honor students.

Teague is a special player and Kiffin will find a spot for him early. Graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA

What's the thought of Montana's kid on Vols fans, especially with the QB need? News-Sentinel had a pretty good write up on him looking @ UT a few weeks ago.

And personally, in four years I'm hoping for a UT/Mizzou BCS CG matchup. Of course, this comes on the heels of Mizzou's back-to-back-to-back BCS titles :)

Hey, I can dream!

Gabbert could be really good. Finding another Maclin is a different story.

Gabbert's the real deal from everything I've read/heard/seen. You're right about Maclin BUT we've got several young burners. Keep an eye on Rolandis Woodland. DaNario Alexander is another one. He blew out his knee a couple of times, but he is an exciting player.

Andrew Jones is a Chase Coffman in the making.
