After finding itself down by five halfway through the game, the University of Tennessee baseball team rallied back within one on two occasions against No. 4-ranked LSU. In the end, the early deficit and the fact that they left 12 runners on base were simply too much to overcome, however, and the Tigers were able to leave Knoxville with three wins in two days, defeating the Volunteers, 8-2, in the nightcap of a doubleheader Saturday evening at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Another great start to our SEC season, I think it would be less embarasing if they announced they were going to not play any of the games the rest of the year. Seems like most of the players and coaches have already thrown in the towel.

If Raleigh was fired tomorrow and a decent interim coach put in place, I think you would start to see some wins. Raleigh is an idiot and a terrible human being and is completely ruining the talent on this team. They are a great group of guys (contrary to what Raleigh tell them) they like and respect each other and they want to win. We are also going to lose some of our freshman and many of our recruits if this "man" is allowed to stay through the end of the season. Raleigh simply can't coach at this level...or any level in my opinion.

I don't think Raleigh should be allowed near T-ball kids either...he doesn't know how to speak without using some disgusting expletive or vulgar language.

The only thing Todd Raleigh should be coaching is T-Ball team.

Why would you want to do that to small children? They'd be so upset by his berating them and his constant losing that they'd switch to playing soccer and never come back!

The only team that I'd hire Raleigh to lead would be a City of Knoxville sanitation crew.

I watched the entire game. Unfortunate that we lost considering that I thought we did a good job putting pressure on with the stolen bases and what not.

LSU just simply has more talent and a better managerial staff. I was happy we were at least competitive with the number 4 team in the nation.
