I didn't realize that Justin Hunter wasn't with the Titans anymore..he just hasn't had a very good career..78 receptions 1,300 yards in 4 years

I was thinking Ellis was a Titan.

That would be a good recruiting tool if we could get a little more cooperation from those two. The Raiders, Steelers, and Chiefs are on board.

Why do you hate our former players so much?

1st of all who cares about the Browns other than a Tn guy owns them. As for the Titans they are in Tn, so there is some pride there. Adding VFLers to these teams would be an improvement.

CBJ could use that as a selling point to recruits. Come to UT to prepare for the NFL.

I don't hate VFLs.

I didnt realize Vereen and Croom had signed. Thats cool. I wonder why the Titans dont try to go for more Vols. Seems it would be good for local fan support. I think Derek Barnett would definitely have been a source of hometown pride had he landed in Nashville. I guess its all pretty complicated and they go for specific positions that they need help with. But still...

Not 100% sure, but think that James Stone ended up injured and taking a retirement offer from the Falcons.

Except for Albert Haynesworth in a couple of contract years, no former Vol has ever done anything for the Titans.

Nor has Bama players. What was the name of that fat guard we took in the first round with like the 10th pick?

He already gone. Was terrible.

Warmack was the best lineman on the team for his first couple of years. His injury made him expendable.

Travis Henry kinda did. He ran for 1000 yards in either '05 or '06. I wanna say we led the league in rushing one of those years. Probably VY's rookie year.

Just to be clear: it's not like the Titans have drafted a lot of former Vol legends, with the possible exceptions of Haynesworth and Joey Kent. So the expectations weren't terribly high. They just never seem to work out.

He did fine. He then asked the GM for a loan to pay his back child support and flushed his career down the toilet.

But all those kids are gonna be great future Vols, lol.
