I know I'm stating the obvious, but think about the major players we are rolling out each week in the toughest conference in the nation! I'm as frustrated as many of you, but as coach has said it is a process. We are loading the roster with quality young players and the staff has to be commended for recruiting their butts off. Good times are ahead. A bowl game is a must this year! We need the 3 extra weeks of practice and the exposure that comes with a bowl. Good luck to the Vols and we truly have great fans. GBO!

It seems you can state the obvious a million times but some ignorant people just wont, or cant catch on to it. I guess that's why there so many negative threads and posts since the game ended.

This team was projected to win 5 at the start of the season. CBJ said six and a bowl. Goal has been met. Next year I'm sure CBJ will raise the bar on himself. I expect 7+ wins next year. I really think had AJ kept his britches zipped we would have beat MO.

We know. We will start competing in 2026. It's a process. We have been young every year for the last 7 years.

We as a fan base really got spoiled and took winning for granted for many years. We are loading the roster with SEC caliber players and our coaches are doing a good job with them in the weight room, classroom, film room, and on the field. We're not there yet but the process is working and will bring success for a long period of time.

I can't disagree with your mindset, but I will say that our depth is improving with talented kids. With AJ out, we should have been able to bring in someone almost as good. The kid we brought in did well but he is a freshman!

I agree with all that 100%.

We were on track for five. Dobbs changed that.

I hate to say this BUT, We would have won the game last night IF AJ and Williams had been playing. I am so disappointed in those two players who threw their team under the bus for some personal satisfaction. It is even worse that AJ was a captain and had given an indication earlier that he used bad judgement when he was charged for providing alcohol to minors at an another after the game party. I had hoped that he had "learned his lesson" but I was wrong. Sorry for the rant, but I am so sick of reading that coaching cost us the game. Lets remember that our only TD resulted from the coaches' call on the fake field goal.

We are still very young with inexperienced players and depth at every position. When one has realize that behind AJ was a freshman who has played only two years of organized football. If you want to blindly blame the coaches, direct your ire toward the previous three head coaches that preceded CBJ and his staff. We must realize that we are back on the road to a winning program and developing a team that will compete for SEC titles in the next two years. Support our team and coaches and beat Vanderbilt and go to a bowl game for the first tome in five years. We can not blindly blame the present without looking at where we have been for the past 7-8 years.

Go VOLS and beat Vanderbilt.

I agree with the point about AJ. AJ was one of the best sideline to sideline linebackers I have seen. There were several plays during the night where the MO running back got the edge, and I felt like AJ would have cut it off. This was especially evident on Missouri's two first half touchdown drives.

Barnett plays like he could be in the NFL after this season... Another 2 or 3 TFL, QB hurries. BEST FR on the team and in the SEC

we seem to forget very easy, also the coaching staff is still learning. some amatuer mistakes and playcalling(like the TO's and coaches challange last night) but they will get better. i still believe CBJ is a good coach but still has a lot of work to do.

Barnett is a the real deal, but he needs to learn to keep his composure. He could have cost us the SC game. Last night, on the play before he got called for roughing the passer, he was mouthing with Mauk with the referee standing right there. I didn't feel like the play flagged was any more of a late hit than the previous play, but it was really unnecessary. I really felt like that flag was the result of jawing the play before.
