A true Tennessee icon and as fine and decent a gentleman as has ever walked the face of the earth. Mr. Harris will be sorely missed at UT and throughout Knoxville in general.

Prayers and Condolences to his family. I got to know him many years ago and he’s one of the best people you’ll ever meet. As hat said, he’ll be sorely missed.

Haywood Harris passed away at the age of 80. I remember his History segments and love his spirit as a man and Vol,

To be absence from the body is to be present with the Lord!

God bless Mr. Haywood Harris.
