I was going to completely agree.

A guy looses and everybody jumps off the bandwagon...Gee, haven't you ever seen a team get blown out before. Ever thought that the players for Tech slowed down while OK players kept the foot on the gas. It happens all the time. Just because TT got blown out you think Leach is not a good coach?

Kelly didn't lose that bad and he was playing a 3rd string QB. Leach is a good coach but to be handled like that...that's just embarrasing. Especially when you have 2 Heisman candidates on your offense.

Prepare 24/7 for OU in that building and it wouldn't matter....

Besides, this loss is no different than UCONN 40 Cincy 16!

..... Or NCST 41 UNC 10.....

So I guess Davis should be scratched off the list too?

I don't think leach was ever to far up the potential replacement list anyway. He'd be happier in washington close to the puget sound.

TT is the third best team in the Big 12. So, in Leach's best year at that school, he's still only the third best team. He hasn't done anything in 10 years. Can the hype surrounding him please stop?

I'm sending Stoops an email of thanks, and asking him to consider the UT job for $5 mil per year.

You realize that by losing this game, Texas Tech has no shot at winning their division, right? It wouldn't matter if it were 65-64, it would still ruin the season goal. Texas Tech gambled to try to get back in the game, and it didn't pay off. Onside kicks, 4th down tries, etc. Big risk/reward potential. It didn't work out for them, namely because Tech's o-line didn't protect worth anything tonight. The D-line of OU dominated this game, and completely controlled TT's game plan. You can't go to your bread and butter (passing all over) if the o-line can't keep blocks.

Just as one game didn't prove Leach as a good coach, one game won't define him as a bad one. Their gameplan, offensively is still good. They were just outmanned. Once it piled on, they had to get silly with their plan, because it was the only possible chance of getting out of the hole they were in. Once that happened, OU pinned their ears back and made the Tech O-line look stupid.

Everyone gets exposed on occasion...TN gets its pants pulled down and effectively spanked nearly everytime they play Florida. So, what!!! This just means Leach can come in sooner.

Actually if OU loses to OSU, then Tech would win the South.
