Vol defense?

Shoop did fine. Young players made some mistakes and cost us. But 2 offensive touchdowns against one of the worst run defenses in the country is unacceptable.

Defense needs some help, gets very little from this offense.. Turn the ball over too much. Dobbs is a a turnover machine.

Talent at depth, is not good. Willie Martinez coached backs, are worse after he works with them than before. If Shoop wants to succeed next season, then he's going to have to reevaluate his position coaches.

The sad part is I just don't see our D improving next year. Yeah, we've been down JRM & Sutton all year but they're gone next year and then factor in that Barnett, Vereen, OBrien, & Lewis are all gone too. Our DL will likely be pedestrian next year.

Shoop has been completely underwhelming all year. Even before the injuries Appy St and VaTech boatraced our defense and other than Barnett no DL has done anything.

Shoop has been bad so far. The only real bright spot has been Barnett. Like I have said in another thread, I worry about how bad this defense is going to be without him next year.

This defense has given up a TON of yards and has been burned badly. Until Shoop proves it, he is not very good.

It's not even pedestrian this this year, look at the stats:eek:lol:

The yutes in the secondary hurt us in the game... not on Shoop right tonight.
