OK..so a 5'11 corner can cover the taller receivers without any concern? I wasn't sure how important height was at corner vs. safety, etc.

Ty Law is 5'11
Deltha Oneal is 5'11
Nathan Vasher is 5'10
Deangelo Hall is 5'10
Ronde Barber is 5'10

each of those guys were 2006 pro-bowlers...so, no, 5'11 is not a concern for a corner.

Over six foot corners were just a fad in the NFL for a few years, when they allowed a lot of contact between receiver and DB, and size was a premium. The college game, IMO, mirrored that, playing taller players at CB. Now it's more about atheleticism, so smaller guys are the premium.
