Vol assistant coaches urging guys to keep working - vid

I imagine most of the guys are doing what they need to do to be ready. Sure there will be exceptions; and those that don't keep up will be riding the pine.
There is no excuse for anyone not to be doing conditioning, but I don’t know how it’s possible for the guys to be doing what they need to be doing without access to weights, especially the linemen. There are probably quite a few who don’t have access with all gyms being closed.

A LOT of guys can get in gyms even with the shutdown. Just gotta be creative and Motivated. Or they could always bench the sofa (loaded) 30 times. lol

Unless they have access to weights they aren’t working out as if they do. I do expect they are doing what they can and that the coaches have reached out to come up with what each one will do based off what resources are available to them.

How they use their free time will be the difference. I expect they are being productive.

Some guy on ESPN today said there's just so many times a player can run up that grassy hill next to his house. LOL. Hopefully most have weights laying around in the garage they can dust off and use.

Some players will condition and lift the right way, some will try but wont have the resources to do it like they should, and some will slack off and show up, overweight, weak and out of shape. I remember MTSU coach Boots Donnelly said " no matter how much you worked out on your own, it wasnt enough most likely"

The question every player has to ask themselves and answer everyday is this. Did I get better or worse today? It is impossible to remain the same. You either improve or you regress. There is no coasting uphill.

Those coaches walking around out on the field......don't be arrested by the cops for not staying at home.
Lol.......I've seen some crazy videos lately of police taking people to jail for walking down the sidewalk.....alone.
