The flip side to that coin is that I had Row 1 seats directly behind the UT bench, and the seats are field level, they are not elevated. We couldn’t see anything and actually moved up to see the game because everyone on the sideline obstructed our view .Don't sit in the upper deck in the endzone. It sucks!!!!
Spot onSmall visitors section in lower level sections 16 and 17 then in upper deck on same sideline, the sections nearest the corners.
Worst game day atmosphere I've seen in college football outside of Legion Field back in the days when Bama played some games there. Stadium is on the fairgrounds in an industrial area. Very, very limited pregame food/beverage options. Better to pack your own supplies (almost no public restrooms) or just eat elsewhere before/after.
Plenty of parking at area businesses and easy in/out to interstate.
Bama ego Vandy trophy case.
Think he’s going with his wifeYou nailed it! I suffered through graduate school at USC, and I honestly despise them more than Florida and Alabama due to the delusional fan base.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve been to the stadium. While it is nothing remarkable, I don’t remember it as a dump. I’d say it’s a middle-of-the-road stadium (which would put it in the bottom of the SEC). Because of its location, tailgating was big…as in most places.
It has a pretty good atmosphere…thanks to those delusional fans who always think that they are about to turn the corner. Oh, and at least when I was there, the coeds looked very nice in the black cocktail dresses at the nicer tailgates…if you are into that sort of thing.
