I am a Virginia Tech fan but love any and all college football. I'm goin to be making a trip to UT soon for a game and I was curious if ya'll had any advice to make sure I get the full Volunteer experience. Thanks a lot!

- Arrive on Friday night for parties on the Cumberland Strip

- Get up at around 9-10 AM, and tailgate with some fans for a few hours.

- Head over to Littons for a burger

- Get over to the stadium in time for the Vol Walk

- Get in the stadium to watch the team run through the T

It's not everything, but it's a short list. Other fans do other things

Make sure you see the Vol Walk, band entering the stadium, and the Vol Navy! :)

And welcome to the board!

My advice is to bring a few boxes of quality tissues and a gallon jug of Mylanta or Mallox ( I'm a Mylanta man myself ) if you want to get the full Volunteer experience of late.

Tix for N. Illinois are plentiful.

There are several threads with great information pertaining to newbies first time experiences at Neyland. Enjoy yourself and welcome to the board.

Going from Tech to the Vols isn't a step up lol.
But enjoy Neyland if it was a good year for the Vols it would be a good experence. I bet depending on the game you might see it 50% full.
