They had some old photos in the UC last year of UT during the Civil War... anybody know of any sites that have pictures like that? Where would you go on campus to find something like that?

My guess would be to go up to the help desk by Starbucks in the UC and ask those people. That is the only place I ever see older pics like that around campus. Unless the library kept them filed?

I wouldn't say he was hired for that specifically, but the story is that during his hiring he was told to "even the score with Vanderbilt."

looks like McClung Museum has a Civil War exhibit and a film with pictures/recreations of 1864 Knoxville...
