Unfortunately I drive to class everyday around the time this guys show is on the sports animal.

He has to be one of the worst Knoxville radio personalities around. He never brings any kind of news to the table. All he does is talk about sheet on twitter and try and attract people with shock journalism.

He's nothing but a poor mans Clay Travis

Dump Sports Animal. It's UT's state run radio. Turn the dial to TSR 1180 am

Better than Doc, Jeff, and Heather. But you just have to have a pulse to be better than them.

Sometimes I'll turn it on the Sports Animal at night, when I can't pick up 1180, and when it's national talk shows anyway, and I'll forget and it will still be on there in the morning. The Doc, Jeff, and Heather show is the worst sports show I've ever heard. I don't understand why anyone listens to it. All they do is brown nose the UT Athletic Department and express utter contempt for their listeners. I've lived all over and heard tons of local sports radio shows and it amazes me that this thing is actually still on the air day after day. Who listens to this stuff?

Here in Nashville one can listen to Mark ('where's my Twinkie'?) Howard & Frank Whine-check. Nice to have mp3 for morning commute.

I had the Animal on last night because with the time change the AM signal is dead after 6:00. Get in the car this morning and D,J&H were arguing about some ridiculous thing. They will spend 20 minutes arguing about something not even sports related. Anyway, didn't stick around to see how long this one lasted. Got right back over to 1180.

Bring HH to TSR and she would do much better. She's very opinionated and has to keep them in check while employed by state run radio. I think she could bring good opinions & perspective to the mix given the freedom to do so.

Are you hard of hearing? Her voice alone makes me turn the dial. I've never heard a 'professional' radio personality say 'Uh' in such a disturbing quantity and manner.

Have you ever listened to close to 100% of those ex-jocks who the networks and ESPN trot out there each week? Uh... You know... on and on.

Seems like a personal axe to grind to me.
