Fulmer was shaking more than Ali holding the torch. He didn't look like a man that was confident that Ainge was able to start.

I have one of those gut-type feelings that whoever gets the bulk of the playing time in this game will get the job done. Yeah, it's drama for us fans, but I like the feeling. I'd say Crompton would be 'ready as heck.' :)

Crompton didn't play fantastic last year, but has had a year to improve and can run the No Huddle. Probably not as good as Ainge, but he is going on his third season at UT. He should know basically the whole O. Ainge or Crompton will, whoever plays the most, will not pass it more than 20 times. We will run the ball 35-40 times in this game. Can't wait to see some old school UT smashmouth football.

After the day we've had today, that thread name had me a little worried about what I might find in here.

Whatever. I didn't see that. No sweats, no shifty eyes.

That said, he keeps looking past the interviewers and his answers are pretty curt.

Not that Fulmer is a particularly verbose interview, but these factors make me think he is playing it close to the vest.

Whether what he is holding is the nuts or a bluff remains to be seen.

My gut reaction is to think that we are all blowing this out of proportion, as we are starved for football news.
